Following a County GPC meeting this morning a unanimous decision was taken to CANCEL the Somerset County League and ALL County Competitions for the 2020-2021 indoor season.

This is regrettable but was felt necessary due to the current Covid-19 situation, we did not want clubs to have uncertainty when planning for the coming season.

We understand that at least two clubs have indicated that they are pulling out of the league and concern has been expressed about visiting other clubs for games

It has been suggested the SCL entry fees can be carried over until the 2021-2022 season but if clubs would prefer to have this refunded can you please advise me accordingly

Let's hope it's not too long before we can get back to playing bowls and meeting up with everyone.
